After Sun and Jil, the fashion house is hoping to deliver another instant classic with new perfume Eve.

Launched exclusively online on July 13, Eve is a fruity floriental that features top notes of grapefruit flower and redcurrant, a heart of wild rose, jasmine, and violet as well as a dry-down composed of cashmere wood and patchouli.

“What I like about this new fragrance is that it is very self-assured,” says German actress Karoline Herfurth, the scent’s spokesmodel who rose to fame in her native country thanks to the movie adaptation of Patrick Süskind’s Perfume novel, “it’s very soft and very light, but never superficial. It has an unbelievable depth.”

Eve won’t be released in stores until September, but the first batch of bottles can now be purchased at store.jilsander.com.

The fragrance is going head to head with Elie Saab’s first signature scent, Oh, Lola! by Marc Jacobs, and Coach’s Poppy Flower, which also launch this month.
