The world´s largest indoor golf centre, Indoor Golf Arena, is expected to open its doors in the Netherlands in 2010.

The 18,000 m2 centre of excellence for golf will provide state-of-the-art, weather-independent, recreational and professional training facilities.

The project is the result of cooperation amongst a number of Dutch companies that are world-leaders in the golf sector, most notable of which are developer Indoor Golf Project and golfing simulator manufacturer ProTee United, who will install 20 simulators.

The simulators offer a wide choice of national and international golf courses to choose from, as well as a driving range with high-tech swing analysis equipment.

The center is equipped with a kid’s training area, bar, lounge and an up market restaurant as well. they also have a conference room, meeting rooms and sky lounges.

The Indoor Golf Arena is supported by the Professional Golfers Association Europe (PGAE) and is expected to draw 150,000 visitors per year.

Eventually, the Indoor Golf Project management aims to build up to 10 Indoor Golf Arenas worldwide.
