A few forward-thinking hoteliers are doing their soccer fan guests a major solid by launching World Cup-themed menus, opening special viewing lounges and broadcasting games live.

Guests staying at select Four Seasons properties, for instance, can rest assured that they won’t go thirsty or hungry while watching a match.

At the Singapore property, chefs have created a special in-room menu service that will help put fans in the spirit of the game and ensure they don’t miss a second of the match.

England fans, for instance, can order up a fish and chip sandwich; Spain supporters munch on spicy chorizo lomo and Iberico ham, while Mexico fans tuck into pulled pork tacos.

Caipirinha

In Miami, soccer fans are invited to the hotel’s Edge Copa Lounge, which for one month will be dedicated to the World Cup games, with multiple TVs, foosball tables, and Caipirinhas, Brazil’s national cocktail.

Likewise, over in India, the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai has created a FIFA-themed menu that includes dishes like the Messi Messi, Red Fury, Samba Special and Swiss Connection, reports The Economic Times.

And in Doha, major hotels like the Crowne Plaza, Doha Marriott Hotel, and Ritz-Carlton Doha will also screen matches and throw World Cup-themed parties for their guests.
