Dolce & Gabbana will design the formal club suits for Chelsea Football team after signing a new three-year partnership, according to Vogue UK.

Using the club’s signature blue, the designer duo have created two outfits for the players – the first comprises a three piece suit with an embroidered logo crest.

The second comprises a pair of jeans worn with a shirt and black trainers. Both looks will be finished off with a black wool fitted coat.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti and the team’s staff will also be dressed by the label featuring two-button jackets, blue shirts, wool jumpers and high-heeled shoes for the women.

The Directors Lounge meanwhile has been rechristened the Dolce & Gabbana Lounge and has been completely refitted with blue furniture, oak floors and touches of silver.

But it’s not the first time Dolce & Gabbana have worked with a glamorous football team. Last year, the label created the casual outfits for AC Milan’s summer tour.

They also designed the suits for the Italian national team at the last two World Cups and have featured several players from that team in their mens’ underwear campaigns.
