Developed in partnership between Saleen and specialty builder ASC, the car is scores well in its specs as well as looks. The aluminum chassis 2-seater can get from 0-60 in a supercar-standard 3.2 seconds.Powered by a supercharged 5.0L engine and running off E85 ethanol, the S5S Raptor produces 650 hp and 630 lb-ft. of torque, allowing the car to race from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds. While the car’s design isn’t extremely unique, the car does sport some aggressive features, like a large front grille and 20-inch rims.
For $185,000, it will hit the production level in 2010.
