Sultan of Brunei's Rolls Royce

This Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe is reported to be owned by the Sultan of Brunei’s family.

The Sultan has a sizable private fortune derived from his total control over the national economy's finances and the appropriation of the state's sizeable oil revenues to bankroll his extravagant lifestyle. The Sultan's fortunes, in line with oil prices, have fluctuated since an estimated high of $55.63 billion in 1997, which made him the richest man in the world at the time. (wikipedia)

Sultan of Brunei’s family is reported to own around 5000 vehicles that are all logged into a central computer system. If not driven by immediate members of the family, then they are used by government officials and members of the royal household.

Last Shotguns Ever Made by Asprey Fetch Over $100,000

Two of the last ever shotguns developed by 200-year-old London luxury goods firm Asprey generated a sales of over $120,000 at Christie’s. The extraordinarily delicate firearms exhibited at the Christie’s Fine Sporting Guns and Rifles sale marked the end of a custom of faultlessly accomplished gun craft.

Asprey engaged in supplying aristocracy and longtime holder of Royal Warrants shut down its gunrooms in 1996 for good, soon after the company was acquired by Prince Jefri of Brunei. After holding this you can stand next to Prince Charles and George Bush as both take pride in owning one.

The Platinum Yacht becomes the Golden Star

In 1996 Prince Jefri Bolkiah of Brunei commissioned a secret project called 'The Platinum Yacht' but ran into financial difficulty and the project was put on hold.

The project was taken over in 2001 by the Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum and the yacht was renamed the 'Golden Star'. It is now in dry dock awaiting completion, but when it is finally completed the Golden Star will not only be the world's most expensive yacht at a cost of over $300 million USD, but also the longest at 525 feet.
