Part of a heavily cyberpunk influenced collection, this desk lamp is not only strong with the cool factor but is also quite a responsible creation. Taiwan-based Edison-industry’s handmade lamps are up-cycled from iron piping typically discarded by the steel industry. The lamps combine an industrial chic design aesthetic with the latest technology innovations, including on-off, blinking and brightening light, and dimmer functions that are all able to be activated by touch. Unfortunately, information in English on Edison-industry’s offerings are currently difficult to source as the company’s website and Facebook pages are all in Chinese.
