After three years of planning, the much-awaited Rosewood Baha Mar is now open in New Providence Island, Bahamas. The ultra-luxury resort joins the 1800-room Grand Hyatt Baha Mar and the 300-room SLS Baha Mar, both of which opened last year under the umbrella of the uber-luxe Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.

The Rosewood Baha Mar, set along the coasts of the Nassau beaches comes with 237 guestrooms, suites and beachfront villas that promise a luxurious yet residential experience.

The elite accommodations feature private balconies with furnished outdoor living areas, as well as individual services from personal butlers. Each corner of the resort is unique and boasts of British colonial designs with a mesmerizing color palette of sand, sky and crystal blue. Amongst its varied offerings, four luxurious villas, one that is six bedrooms and three that are three bedrooms, are known to be the cream-de-la-cream with exceptional tranquility, exclusive services and private plunge pools.

The luxury resort boasts four distinct dining and drinking venues, all lead by Rosewood Baha Mar’s executive chef, Siddharth Krishna. At Costa, an outdoor restaurant serving coastal cuisines with Mexican-inspiration, such as spiny lobster enchiladas and local goat barbacoa with locally sourced ingredients ; The Commonwealth serves a mélange of colonial British fare, with a private Rum Room that’s available for reservations; The Library Lounge is perfect for an afternoon tea, or maybe some indulgence such as champagne and caviar. Move on a finale after dinner at Manor bar, with classic cocktails or perhaps an original concoction — the Wilson’s Smash is made with viejo rum, lime juice, caramelized pineapple syrup, Angostura bitters, club soda, and mint.

Guests can also look for relaxation at the Sense – A Rosewood Spa, its state-of-the-art fitness center, two private swimming pools and luxury cabanas.

Twelve meeting rooms, along with a 4,950-square-foot ballroom with a walkout terrace and courtyard, meeting room, boardrooms, private dining room and several al fresco event areas further make the Rosewood Baha Mar a multi-themed luxury gateway for one and all.
