Acclaimed harbourside fine dining restaurant Harlan’s at IFC, Hong Kong, is celebrating its 5th anniversary with a HK$555 tasting menu of favourite signature dishes since opening in 2004.
The 5-course gastronomic showcase is being served from Aug 1- Sep 30.
It also includes a 50% discount on specially-selected premium wines and champagnes from the vintage years between 2000 to 2006.

McCartney quoted to Women’s Wear Daily “I’m a huge Bambi fan, and the film reminds me of my mum…And we wanted to have some fun.
The clothes in the campaign are looking quite fierce, and we wanted to contrast them with the innocence of Bambi.”


A farmer in the town of Tsukigata in Hokkaido, Japan, has grown watermelons that are shaped like pyramids!
The farmer attained this shape by putting the watermelon in a pyramid-shaped plastic casing and hanging it upside down.
Sixteen of the pyramid-shaped watermelons have been shipped to shops across the country, including the Iwataya department store in Fukuoka.

If you have a hankering to join the mile-high club but you’re frightened of flying, Holland’s brand new Honecker Hotel could be just the ticket.
A vintage four-engine plane that’s been converted into a luxurious five-star hotel, it boasts a whirlpool, sauna, bar, kitchen, flat-screen televisions, wireless Internet – and it doesn’t even leave the ground.
Instead, the 1960s jet is perched on the edge of the runway at Teuge airport, just east of Amsterdam, so visitors can watch other planes take off and land while remaining on terra firme.
