From 11 to 16 September 2018, yachting enthusiasts will descend on Cannes to attend the annual Cannes Yachting Festival. People who have travelled to Cannes will tell you of its alluring beauty – gentle hills, rugged cliffs, and wild rivers of Corniche d’Esterel. This captivating seaside town is famous for holding the prestigious annual film festival (Cannes International Film Festival) and is a playground for millionaires. Cannes also plays host to world-renowned events such as Palais des Festivals.

The Cannes Yachting Festival 2018 will be the 41st edition, making it unquestionably, Europe’s leading in-water boat show where yachting marques will demonstrate and display a wide range of motor and sailing yachts, and even multi-hulls. More than 600 boats will be showcased across the two ports of Cannes: the Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto. Fans of superyachts can look forward to viewing these leviathan models gracing this prestigious six-day show. These can be found at the Brokerage and Charter Area at the Port Pierre Canto. Aside from the new models displayed, visitors will be able to witness exhibitions of boating equipment and service companies, too. Attendees can also discover a dedicated area for luxury goods, crafts and lifestyle at the Palais des Festivals.
Visitors are ensured smooth commute between the two ports via a convenient sea shuttle service. However, in 2018, the event will offer new ground service accessible by visitors and exhibitors upon presentation of their admission ticket. What’s more, don’t forget to check out the popular Concours d’Elégance – an exceptional showcase of vintage and modern-day boats paying tribute to the rich history of sailing on the French Riviera.
The Cannes Yachting Festival is indubitably one of the largest boat shows in Europe and with a history dating back to 1977, you can imbibe all the heritage and culture that this destination beckons.
