For being one of the fastest-paced industries, fashion has sometimes been remarkably slow in jumping on the online bandwagon.
One of the brands that took especially long to get selling on the internet is Miu Miu, which finally launches its first e-shop on April 6.
According to Women’s Wear Daily, the site will feature all of the label’s collections, making it the biggest Miu Miu store in the world.
The site – functional, elegant and easy to navigate – merges the avant-garde world of Miu Miu with the ease of on-line shopping.
Customers are allowed to view, select and purchase the entire collection or to filter their search according to color, material and heel height.
The Miu Miu E-Store also includes a “Fashion Show Selection” where shoppers can browse through exclusive key looks, as seen on the Paris runway.
Utilizing a state of the art zoom function, the high quality and very detailed product images can be examined from various angles, allowing the consumer to explore each piece of the collection in depth, as in a live shopping experience.
The site will launch simultaneously in 17 European countries, the US and Japan.
