According to The Daily Mail, David Beckham has allegedly spent £2,000 ($3,300) flying his pet bulldog puppy to Los Angeles.

The British Bulldog puppy was a gift from Victoria and was put on a plane – first-class of course – and flown out to their LA home by a specialist service.

The Beckham’s used the UK’s premier pet transportation company, PetAir, for the 5,500-mile journey which reportedly begun with a slap-up meal at the home of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

A source close to the Beckhams said: “In its very short life, David’s dog has already seen the kind of luxury it will be treated to.

It’s been fed top-notch food by the UK’s leading star chef, and has now been flown in total comfort to LA.”

The newspaper reported the cost of PetAir’s luxury ‘Gold Standard’ service starts at more than £1,300.

A custom-made wooden container, water, a pre-travel health examination, and one night in the care of a vet are included.

The source added: “It’s one lucky animal, but David only wants the best.”
