Vi-Spring, the opulent bed maker recently announced the launch of their new bed, The Majesty. Designed exclusively for Harrods, it’s the only place you can get your hands on one.

Priced at £52,000, (over $85,000), this one of a kind piece of furniture is made entirely by hand, individually and to order.

The simple, clean lines give the collection a calm, collected appeal while the minimalist details and crisp, white palette give it an ultra modern, urban-sophisticated edge.

Made in a combination of chrome and blown pyrex glass, its look is bold yet extremely likeable.

Spider-like in appearance; “legs” jut out from a central “body”.

Each of these curving “legs” is tipped with a tiny, twinkling light. The reflective surfaces of the lamp catch the light and multiply the effect.

Toto, the company well known for its innovative toilets, showcased the new, artistic Waza Miyabi collection at the KBIS (Kitchen/Bath Industry Show) 2009.

The patterns for these toilet models are based on sho-chiku-bai, which means “pine, bamboo and plum” in Japanese.

“Each toilet is hand-painted in vivid colors with intricate detailing, creating a piece of high art for the bath space,” Toto spokeswoman Lenora Campos said.
