Spas will open its first European location in Portugal. The opening of the resort is scheduled for next year.

The Six Senses Douro Valley will welcome its first clients in Spring 2015.

The hotel is set to feature 71 rooms and suites, spread across a 20-acre estate. Guests will also have the option to stay in one of several villas with one, two or three rooms.

A 2,200-square-meter spa with ten treatment rooms will also be found onsite. Treatments developed on the theme of wine, the valley’s speciality, will be on offer. Other well-being facilities include an outdoors heated pool and an inside pool with water jets as well as a gym.
