Following the news that surrealist filmmaker David Lynch is shooting the new ‘Lady Dior’ commercial, Dior has launched a new series of short films to accompany its ‘New Lock’ bag.

Directed by Peter Lindberg and Darius Khondji, the clips show French actress Nora Arnezeder artfully playing around with the luxurious bag in a series of stylishly urban set-ups.

Arnezeder is considered one of the bright young stars of French cinema and joins fellow actress Marion Cotillard as an ambassadress for Dior, with the latter starring once again in the ‘Lady Dior’ ad, this time to be directed by Lynch.

Dior’s ‘New Lock’ leather bag, with the name being a pun on the house’s iconic ‘New Look’ silhouette and paying tribute to the model’s innovative clasp, comes in a broad range of colors, with ‘Cannage’ stitching and metal chains.

It retails for about $2,050 at international Dior boutiques and department stores. The new films appear on a new, specially designated webpage.
