A diamond encrusted version of Monopoly has been launched in the UK just in time for Christmas — and it’s yours for just £100,000.

Called Military Monopoly, it replaces the traditional place names such as Bond Street and Mayfair, with the names of Royal Navy ships, Army units and RAF stations.

It has been launched by luxury leather-goods company Pemberton and Milner along with jewellers Garrard and a quarter of the profits raised will go to services charities.

The playing pieces are made of silver and all relate to military gear, including a Household Cavalry Helmet, a Royal Air Force jet, and a sailor’s cap.

The houses and hotels are also silver and the board is covered with diamonds, with gold and diamond shakers and dice.

Funds raised from the sale would benefit The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity and The RAF Benevolent Fund.

The set will also be available in two other versions, a £1,495 Deluxe version that features a hand-printed leather board and a £3,500 handmade Ultra Luxe version.
