Italian Vanity Fair has an exclusive preview of the illustrious Pirelli calendar, providing a first glimpse at this year’s models, who include Kate Moss, Lara Stone, Milla Jovovich, Saskia de Brauw, Isabeli Fontana, and the actress Rinko Kikuchi.

Shot in Corsica, the photos are by Mario Sorrenti, who is best known for his artful nudes in the pages of magazines such as Vogue.

Locations used included abandoned old farmhouses as well as the blue seawater with backdrops of rocky outcrops.

Following Karl Lagerfeld’s timelessly elegant and Terry Richardson’s sexually provocative pictures of the past two years, Sorrenti is expected to bring back a high-fashion feel.

The limited-edition calendar, which is commissioned by Italian tire company Pirelli, gets released at the end of the year, but only to a handful of the company’s clients.
