Coach Spring 2017 Features George Baseman

The pop artist helps in the design of a rebellious and counter-cultural collection for the American fashion label.

Largely known for his pop art involving cartoon characters drawn in a twisted style reminiscent of David Lynch (himself a dabbler in the world of art, besides filmmaking of course), the designs of George Baseman feature heavily in the new Coach Spring 2017 collection for men. Beyond that, the collection has a wide variety of counter-cultural influences and what can only be called a rebellious streak – borrowing liberally from biker gangs, ‘B’ movies, punks, beatniks, and hip-hop.
