Just a couple of weeks ago Nike presented its new French Away Team Kit, paying homage to the iconic white/navy striped pattern
Colette is celebrating the Away Kit by bringing on collaborators from all sorts of areas, presenting their product also with the “mariniere” striped pattern.

The brand new luxury lifestyle Edition Hotel is scheduled to operate and make its European debut in Istanbul in April 2011.
With the extraordinary, 20,000 square foot, three-floor ESPA spa, Istanbul Edition Hotel offers its guests an incomparable spa experience integrating beauty, health, and wellness in a setting of fine design and luxury.
Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) envisioned the luxury state-of-the-art spa design to draw inspiration largely from local Turkish traditions and customs.

Hermès has come out with the ultimate well-dressed gentleman’s accessory – a valet stand in solid mahogany, fine leather and brass with ebony detailing.
The luxe piece is a limited edition re-issue of a classic item created for Hermès in 1930 by famed French decorator and designer Paul Dupré-Lafon.
It features a calfskin hangar for a suit, a calfskin tray for one’s watch and cufflinks, a mahogany shoe rack, and brass hooks and rods for ties, belts and braces.

Karl Lagerfeld has designed a pop-up hair salon and concept store for Schwarzkopf in his home town of Düsseldorf, reports WWD today.
The German city – also home of the Schwarzkopf hair care brand – will play host to this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in April.
The Lagerfeld’s Schwarzkopf Lightbox by Karl Lagerfeld, which will stay open for four weeks from April 16 before moving on to Milan and Paris.


French house DJ duo Daft Punk is teaming up with Coca-Cola in the design of a new line of soda dubbed “Club Coke.”
Coca-Cola posted a video featuring Daft Punk beats and the austere gold and silver bottle design, which mimics the helmets the duo wear during live performances.
The new beverage is set to be released next month and will be available at dance clubs across Europe, as previous “Club Coke” lines have been.

Designers Studio XAG have created a window installation in London for fashion designer Christian Louboutin, spelling out the brand name in bright neon lettering.
The window is furnished with a neon arrow and an array of backlit oversized perspex letters decorated with bulbs.
