The Italian fashion label Marni is holding an exhibition during Art Basel and Design Miami 2012, displaying 125 chairs made in Colombia by ex-prisoners.
The initiative is part of the Marni Charity Project, which aims to help prisoners re-integrate into social and working life.
The design of the chairs is common among Colombian families, but Marni modified the shape and weave and created a new color variation.
The chairs will be sold exclusively at the Marni Miami Store. The funds raised from the sale of the chairs will be donated to the Service Network for Children of Inmates.
