House of Cards: Celebrate International Women’s Day with President Claire Underwood

The trailer was just in time to celebrate International Women’s Day, Robin Wright’s Claire Underwood takes over the position of POTUS, continuing last season’s plotline where Frank Underwood’s presidency ended on March 15, 2017, following his resignation, allowing Vice President Underwood to take control of the Oval Office.

A plot twist showed Claire dragging her feet with a Presidential Pardon for Frank as the Vice President assumed office shortly. There was little in the trailer hinting to how Frank would be written out of the series.

The final season of House of Cards will be returning on Netflix this fall.
