The variations of works produced by Welsh artist Ed Fairburn incorporate a variety of maps that function as canvases, these portraits are then seamlessly integrated with the topography of streets, mountains and rivers. By carefully following the map contours with a pen and varying the widths of each line, Fairburn is able to create individual forms and shadows that come together to form these impeccably infused portraits.
