
High-end Netherlands-based stroller brand Bugaboo is teaming up once more with a top fashion label.
The company has called on its compatriots, the design duo of Viktor & Rolf, to fit out a special edition of its Cameleon model.
The Viktor & Rolf edition has a grey taupe bassinet in a leather-like material and has been named “My first car.”

While much has been made of China’s ever-growing appetite for luxury items, a new report suggests that more than ever it is the nation’s children who are being pampered with goods from the world’s elite brands.
The Hong Kong-based consultancy Albatross Global Solutions claims that 60 percent of a group of 900 Chinese consumers surveyed said they spent more than 3,000 yuan ($470) per month on luxury items for their children, up from the previous year’s 40 percent who had said the same.

Young Versace has unveiled its new advertising campaign with supermodel Cindy Crawford’s 10-year-old daughter Kaia Gerber as the face.
Modeling designs adorned with the label’s iconic Greek key motif, Gerber was shot by acclaimed fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
According to the fashion house’s creative director Donatella Versace, Gerber proved she has inherited her famous mother’s talent when modeling the collection.

Rome-based fashion house Fendi is teaming up with Italian manufacturer Inglesina for a collection of baby accessories.
WWD reports December 23 that items including a stroller, pram and baby carrier have been designed in keeping with the fashion house’s classic style.
Featuring the brand’s iconic “F” logo and with a color palette comprising cream, mahogany and blue, the pieces will be available at selected outlets worldwide.

Italian fashion house Versace recently opened its first boutique in Milan dedicated to kids’ line Young Versace, geared toward boys and girls from 0 to 12 years old.
Young Versace is located on the ground floor of the company’s headquarters on Via Borgospesso and is quite small at 538 square feet.
The store will offer the line’s inaugural Spring 2012 collection, which includes zipper-detailed tops, studded hoodies and skirts with the brand’s key motif.


French shoe label Roger Vivier has revealed the launch of a mini-me footwear line, following the increasing popularity of designer childrenswear.
The French footwear label will introduce a line called Roger Vivier – Jeune Fille, or, in English, Roger Vivier – Girl, to its international stores in March.
The line will be a reworking of the house’s brightly colored patent leather adult ballerinas, which carry the brand’s signature buckle.
