
Gurcharn Sahota, a 30-year-old accountancy graduate, is offering the world’s most expensive car wash service in the UK – charging up to £7,200 per vehicle.
Mr Sahota, who lives with his parents in Derbyshire, has converted their double garage into a hi-tech workshop.
He has lined the walls and floor of the double unit with specialist tiles imported from Italy which help reflect flecks of dirt on the cars.
Each vehicle takes up to 250 hours to clean, and his premier service includes polishing and buffing every inch of the car inside and out five times.

German luxury and exotic car tuner Mansory has released details of its latest project, the Mansory Rolls Royce White Ghost, based on the Rolls-Royce Ghost.
The car is painted in a subtle white and adds a new front-end featuring additional LED daytime running lights and vertical air outlets on the sides.
The Ghost will also get new side skirts, rear view mirrors on each side, a rear spoiler, and a rear apron with implied diffuser and dual sport-exhaust-system.


According to the latest reports, it appears that Porsche will price the 918 Spyder at $630,000.
It means that the new hybrid supercar from the German manufacturer will be more expensive than the Carrera GT.
For its new vehicle which will be its most expensive model, Porsche says that over 2,000 potential buyers expressed their interest for the supercar.
For those who don’t know, the 918 Spyder is one of three hybrid models Porsche presented at the Geneva Auto Show in March.


Mercedes-Benz has passed Audi to become the second-best selling premium car brand for the first half of 2010, according to reports released in the last week.
Mercedes posted a 13 percent rise in global sales for the month of June, enough to push it past Audi’s year to date sales, despite Audi having held the second spot in global sales by a whisker for the first five months of the year.
Both automakers trail fellow German marque BMW, which sold 585,755 units in the first half of 2010 according to Automotive News.

Mercedes introduced a new armoured truck concept to the defence industry.
The Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon Light Armoured Patrol Vehicle 6.X was shown off for the first time last month during Eurosatory 2010 in Paris.
Running a high torque common rail diesel engine, the 6.X is capable of 150km/h speeds while being able to transport 1.3 tonnes of cargo.

German tuning firm Kicherer has unveiled a new styling and performance package for the Mercedes SLS AMG.
Known as the Black Edition, the Kicherer modified SLS AMG gets a matte black exterior, a front spoiler lip, a restyled rear diffuser and 20-inch RS-1 wheels.
Other goodies include an adjustable sports suspension (with a lift feature), matte black exterior accents (instead of chrome), and a Kicherer badge on the hood.
