Lexus on Wednesday unveiled the first official photos of its all-new IS sedan, ahead of the car’s world debut at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show on Tuesday.
The 2014 IS features the brand’s new “spindle grille” as well as powerfully articulated headlamps with LED daytime running lights in the shape of an L. Larger and longer, the vehicle boasts additional leg room and trunk space.
Inside, the driver seat offers increased comfort and best in class lateral support. The center console features touch-sensitive controls for temperature and the AC.
The IS F Sport will be able to draw in a larger volume of cooling air for increased sporty performance. Lexus has not yet revealed the vehicle’s technical specs.
While the new IS will debut at NAIAS, the European range will be presented at the Geneva Auto Show (March 7-17).
