New Yorkers gathered at dusk to witness “Manhattanhenge” — a rare alignment of the sun with the east-west street grid in which it appears to set between skyscrapers.

China plans huge tourism project in Tibet capital
China on Sunday started work on a 30-billion-yuan ($4.8-billion) tourism project in Lhasa city as it seeks to draw more travellers to the restive Tibet region.
The massive development in the regional capital will include a theme park, commercial district and residential area, Lhasa Vice Mayor Ma Xinming was quoted as saying by the official Xinhua news agency.
Construction on the first phase of the planned project, about two kilometres (just over a mile) from downtown Lhasa, will take three to five years, it said.

A French video game collector just sold a collection of thousands of video games on eBay for more than $1.2 million.
The collection includes every video game for many of Nintendo’s consoles, every video game for every single Sega console and also for lesser-known game consoles. In total, the collection includes 22 full sets with about 7,000 video games.
