Mansory has reworked the Lamborghini Aventador into a limited production model named the Carbonado, after the black diamonds found in Africa and Brazil.

The Carbonado is coming with a lot of carbon fiber accessories, including new carbon fiber panels applied over its body and over its engine hood.

David Lynch Designs Dom Perignon Bottle

Filmaker David Lynch has collaborated with Dom Perignon to create signature bottle and package designs for their Vintage 2003 and Rosé Vintage 2000.

Its theatrical gift box is tied with silk ribbons at either end, which raise the curtain on the interior, filled with Lynchian chiaroscuro silhouettes.

In a release, Dom Pérignon said the partnership with Lynch was natural because they have much in common, including “mystery, intensity, commitment, time, the constant reinvention of the self, and above all, absolute faith in the power of creation.”

Lynch is the second living artist, after photographer and Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld, to have worked directly alongside the Champagne house.

On July 12 it was confirmed that Italian luxury label Valentino has been sold to the royal family of Qatar for an estimated $858 million.

Mayhoola, an investment group controlled by Qatar’s royal family, explained its vision for the fashion house — which was founded in 1959 by namesake Valentino Garavani and is famed for its ultra feminine frocks.

Ikea has opened a pop-up lounge at Paris’s Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport for passengeres to relax in between flights during the busy summer travel season.

The lounge, situated in the Terminal 3, is open from July 13 to August 5, and includes various spaces laid out like bedrooms, a living room and a play area for children.
