Louis Vuitton’s fall 2012 campaign takes direction from the runway show with an image set onboard a train featuring new faces photographed by Steven Meisel.

“We wanted to continue the journey we started with the fashion show — the glamour of travel and the romance of going somewhere,” Marc Jacobs explained.

Bentley is introducing a new performance flagship, its fastest production model ever, the Continental GT Speed coupe.

The new performance flagship packs 625 PS (616 bhp / 460 kW) at 6000rpm and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque from its 6.0-liter 48-valve, four-cam, twin turbocharged W12 engine.

With power transfered down to the pavement via a newly revised ZF eight-speed automatic transmission, the 0-60 mph sprint takes 4.0 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.2s) and on to a top speed of 205 mph (329 km/h).

Ellison, co-founder and chief executive officer of the tech giant, has purchased 98 percent of the 141 square mile (365 square kilometer) island of Lana’i from its owner Castle & Cooke, governor Neil Abercrombie said on Wednesday.
