Madonna selling her Beverly Hills home for $28M‎

Madonna has reportedly put up her French Country-style mansion, in Beverly Hills as a pocket listing with the asking price of 28 million dollars.

A pocket listing means a real estate agent has a contract to sell it, but it is not listed in the Multiple Listing Service or advertised.

Madonna bought the property back when she was married to English director Guy Ritchie in 2003 and paid about $12 million, according to the Real Estalker.

Floral print pioneer and perfumer Laura Ashley is to open a boutique hotel to showcase its wares, it revealed last week.

The brand, well known for its flowery curtains and clothes, confirmed last week that it has purchased a 49-room hotel in the British county of Hertfordshire, where it will build a branded getaway experience.

All of the bedclothes, sofas, wallpaper and curtains will be matching fabrics with the first guests expected to be welcomed next year, after an overhaul of the property.

A menu for the last luncheon served to first class passengers on the doomed Titanic sold for £76,000 ($122,000) at a British auction on Sunday.

The menu, which records the last lunch served to first-class passengers before the Titanic hit an ice floe and sank, is dated April 14, 1912.

It was on the table of Dr. Washington Dodge, a banker traveling first class from San Francisco, accompanied by his wife, Ruth, and son, Washington Jr.
