Most Europeans still think cruises are safe despite the Costa Concordia shipwreck tragedy on January 13 that claimed 32 lives, according to a poll by cruise ship operator MSC published on Tuesday.

The poll by the Interactive Institute of 2,524 people in France, Germany, Italy and Spain found that 78.5 percent of respondents considered cruises a safe way to travel.

Louis Vuitton has a day of live streaming events planned for March 7 ahead of its Paris Fashion Week presentation and Arts Décoratifs exhibition launch.

LV has teamed up with Louise Roe for the big day, with the British fashion journalist to host a live stream of Wednesday’s 10:00 F/W 2012 show at www.louisvuitton.com.

Then, from 20:00 Roe will provide red carpet access live from the launch of the Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs exhibition at the French capital’s Arts Décoratifs.

At the 2012 Dubai show, Feadship will showcase the latest Feadship Future Concept called Qi (scale model only) which was unveiled at the 2011 Monaco Yacht Show.

The 56 meter (183.75 ft) concept yacht is named after the Asian concept for the life force that’s presumed to surround and flow through all creation.

Feadship luxury motor yacht Qi has four guest suites on the lower deck, each with a private terrace. The main deck lounge can be converted into a cinema with a 180-degree screen, an entertainment/party space or a seating area for relaxation.

Hermes, which already produces the world’s most expensive functional handbags, the Kelly and the Birkin, has unveiled four new designs, each priced at $1.9 Million.

The miniature totes, which are crafted from gold and studded with thousands of precious stones, double up as high jewellery.

Significantly smaller than the popular leather versions, they are designed to be worn as a bracelet, with the handbag strap resting on the wrist.

Teen idol Justin Bieber was presented with a 2012 Fisker Karma on his 18th birthday during The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday.

The gift was a surprise from Scooter Braun, Bieber’s manager, who said that “we wanted to make sure you are environmentally friendly.”

The Fisker Karma is the first model from Fisker Automotive. It’s a sexy four-door sedan with an electric motor and a 2.0L turbocharged range-extending engine.

Mansory has released the first images and details of their tuning package for the McLaren MP4-12C which will be unveiled tomorrow at the Geneva Motor Show.

Thanks to a new performance exhaust, new air intake system and an engine remap, the 3.8-liter twin-turbo unit makes 670 PS 675 Nm (498 lb-ft) of torque.

As a result of this and the aerodynamic enhancements, the McLaren is supposedly capable of doing 353 km/h (219 mph).

The 747-8, a ‘stretched’ version of the classic jumbo jet, normally seats 467 passengers across its two decks, but the delivery made this week is likely to carry considerably fewer.

Instead, the undisclosed VIP customer will be able to fill the airliner with almost whatever they want, likely limited only by their imagination — and the 444 square meters of space which they have to play with.

Clearly influenced by Salvador Dali’s “liquid” clocks, the original watch was an homage to one of Cartier of London senior managers who died in a car crash.

His wrist watch was deformed by fire to a degree of melting and some other member of staff took the destroyed timekeeper as a source of inspiration.
