Restaurateur and Chef Jasper Mirabile Jr. has created the world’s most decadent, exclusive, delicious, but also expensive cannoli ever made.

If your mouth isn’t watering, as of yet, let me share with you the ingredients: The base is made of rich dark chocolate, a whipped ricotta cheese filing mixed with candied lemon, chocolate and lemon peel. All these wrapped in gold leaf.

Dated back to the Arab occupation of Sicily in the 9th century, Jasper’s secret weapon is his great-grandmother’s recipe. Priced at $26,010.

German automaker Mercedes-Benz has tied up with INCC Group to create its first ever fragrance for men which is expected to be launched in early 2012.

The fragrance was launched at the TFWA World Exhibition retail event held in Cannes, France and goes on sale in the first quarter of next year.

Mercedes-Benz for men was developed by perfumer Olivier Cresp and will be available in Eau de Toilette and matching grooming products.

Qatar surpassed Luxembourg as the world’s richest nation in 2010 and is set to pull away with wealth that’s almost twice that of the US.

The IMF’s Chart of the Day shows Qatar’s gross domestic product per capita at $88,221 in 2010, beating Luxembourg for the top spot.

The figure may reach $111,963 by 2016, surpassing Luxembourg’s $94,621 and Singapore’s $70,992, the IMF said.

Abu Dhabi flag-carrier Etihad has announced plans to roll out onboard wireless connectivity for its long-haul routes.

The carrier confirmed September 28 that two aircraft flying between Abu Dhabi and Europe would be kitted out by the end of the year.

Further aircraft will be added by March 2012, the airline said, and it is preparing to decide on a ‘fleet-wide’ system which will allow customers to surf the internet while flying on all its planes.
