Mobiado Grand 350 Pioneer Luxury Phone

Luxury mobile phone maker Mobiado has just unveiled the Grand 350 Pioneer, the world’s first phone to “utilize the compelling beauty of meteorite.”

The company says that the Grand 350 Pioneer pays homage to NASA, more exactly, to the Pioneer 10 spacecraft that NASA launched back in 1972.

Pioneer 10 passed through the Solar System’s asteroid belt and is now on its way to Aldebaran (or Alpha Tauri) in the Taurus constellation.

Zidane & Rain @ IWC 1881 Heritage Grand Opening

South Korean pop star Rain attended yesterday the grand opening of the IWC Schaffhausen flagship store at the 1881 Heritage Boutique in Hong Kong.

IWC Schaffhausen (International Watch Co.) is a famous high-end Swiss watch manufacturer and Rain was personally invited for this grand opening.

French soccer star Zinedine Zidane who joined the brand’s army of ambassadors in 2008 was also in attendance for the opening.

Charlize Theron kiss worth $140,000

Charlize Theron kissed a girl, Thursday night October 22. The kiss was really expensive, totaling at $140,000.

Both the kiss and the cash were part of a charity event held in San Francisco supporting the OneXOne Foundation, an organization committed to helping children in developing regions, to bring soccer fields and clean water to the children of South Africa by 2010, in time for the World Cup.

70-Year-Old Lobster Deserves Freedom

This 11 pound, 70-year old lobster is currently available for purchase at New York’s Oceana restaurant for $275.

Oceana purchased the 11-pound crustacean earlier this week after customers complained that the restaurant’s lobsters weren’t big enough.

(Because lobsters’ age can be determined by weight, the Oceana owners believe the 11 pound crustacean, nicknamed “Peter,” is approximately 70 years old).

Gucci Debuts iPhone Application

Gucci has launched an iPhone and iPod Touch applications. They are now available at the application store for the iPhone and the iPod Touch.

The release coincides with the Gucci Icon-Temporary project, a traveling sneaker store which opens on October 24 at 43 Crosby Street in New York City.

It is also the only place you’ll be able to land a pair of limited edition sneakers designed with DJ, musician and producer Mark Ronson.

Lamborghini’s latest Christmas gifts

Lamborghini has produced a range of limited edition gift-boxed candles and ceramic baubles, inspired by its Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni.

The color scheme for the gifts includes Blue Caelum and White Monocerus which are two of the eight colors the limited edition Gallardo is available in.

The Lamborghini 2009 Christmas gifts collection also includes 2010 wall and desk calendars, winter clothing and T-shirts.

Christian Dior second generation phone


Christian Dior announces the release of the second generation of their luxury phone line just in time for the holidays.

The new luxury phone line will be launched in December 2009 and will feature gold plated and black PVD-coated handsets with sapphire crystals.

The two models are the Zelie with red casing which costs around $7,900 and the Zenaide in white which retails for $13,400.

Croatia to get Europe’s First Rotating Hotel

The hotel will form the centerpiece of a new resort to be built near Split, the second-largest city in Croatia that is situated on the shores of the Adriatic Sea.

Designed by Richard Hywel Evans of Studio RHE the concept was proposed from a desire to provide sea views from each room.

The 61m diameter hotel will have three floors and will rotate 1.3 times per day. Guests will enter from below at lower ground level which does not rotate.

Courvoisier launches flagship luxury Cognac

Interbrand partnered with the Courvoisier team to design their recently launched luxury cognac, L’Essence de Courvoisier.

The nectar is presented in a Baccarat crystal, droplet shaped bottle suspended within a gold frame to accentuate its preciousness and retails at almost $3,000.

The cognac is a blend of eaux de vie from wines made at the beginning of the 20th century as well as from the 21st Century.
